President Johnson will meet with Soviet Premier Alexi Kosygin, during the latter’s visit to America in connection with the U.N. General Assembly session pertaining to Israel, according to White House sources.

A definite meeting has not yet been arranged but it appeared certain that the two leaders would meet while Kosygin is in the United States. It was obvious that the Israeli issue would be at the top of the agenda of matters discussed.
