Israeli military officials reported tonight that anti-aircraft units stationed at the southern end of the Sinai Peninsula shot down one Egyptian jet today and drove off a second plane. The aircraft apparently were on a reconnaissance mission. (See Page 1 for earlier story on Egyptian and Syrian cease-fire violations).
