A.m. Kaiser, Yiddish Writer, Editor, Dies in Tel Aviv

Arnold M. Kaiser, Yiddish writer and journalist and for many years general secretary of the Federation of Jewish Relief Associations in London, died here today. He was 71.

A native of Russia, Kaiser was brought to England as a child and educated there. He served in the Jewish Legion in World War I and was chairman of the Association of Jewish Writers and Journalists in England until he settled in Tel Aviv at the beginning of this year. He was the author of many short stories in Yiddish, some of them dealing with Jewish life in London’s East End.
