Israel may soon issue a formal warning to Jordan that the east bank of the Jordan River will no longer be respected as a sanctuary for Arab marauders fleeing Israeli security forces.

It was reported here today that Israel is considering giving its forces a green light to pursue terrorists across the river if incidents do not end soon. Several times, last week, Israeli forces just missed catching Arab terrorists who used the river as an escape route. The Israeli pursuers, in accordance with orders, halted on the west bank.
