President Zalman Shazar officially opened Israel’s 20th Anniversary Year celebrations at ceremonies in his home today in the presence of the Prime Minister, other top Government officials and public figures. The President’s proclamation was devoted mainly to a call for immigration to Israel and a call to the Israeli populace to participate actively in the absorption of newcomers.
