King Hussein of Jordan is due here tomorrow or Wednesday to discuss the purchase of second-hand Hawker Hunter jet fighters which he is understood to be eager to add to the depleted Jordanian air force. According to reports from Aden, eight of the RAF Hunter fighters that were to have been left behind for the South Arabian Air Force, when Britain evacuates the former colony, are now being offered to Jordan.

The King visited Paris this weekend. He arrived last night in Bonn, where he met today with President Heinrich Luebke, Chancellor Kurt George Kiesinger and Foreign Minister Willy Brand. It was understood from Bonn that the Jordanian monarch had not asked West Germany to take sides as between Israel and the Arab states in the current Middle East crisis.
