George Meany, president of the AFL-CIO, will visit Israel next year at the invitation of Aharon Becker, secretary-general of Histadrut, Israel’s labor federation, who just returned from a six-week tour of the United States, Canada and Latin America, Mr. Becker announced here today. Mr. Becker was a guest of Mr. Meany at the AFL-CIO convention in Miami, Florida earlier this month.
