A curfew was imposed on the Gaza Strip village of Dir Balah tonight after one Israeli soldier was killed and three were injured when their command car struck an anti-vehicle mine nearby. Security forces are searching for the terrorists who planted the mine.
A military spokesman announced that two terrorists were captured today with a large cache of explosives and bazooka shells. The terrorists had been sought by Israeli security forces in connection with an explosion last night which damaged a field shack near Ein Dor on the slopes of Mt. Tabor in central Galillee.
In another incident last night, an explosion slightly damaged a pumping station near Neveh Or in the Beisan Valley. Six pairs of footprints were found leading from the scene to the Jordan River.
