The nation’s first college newspaper in the Hebrew language has been established by students at Yeshiva University’s Erna Michael College of Hebraic Studies here, it was announced today. The newspaper, “Hamashkif” (The Observer), has been created, according to co-editors Harry T. Berkowitz and Milton M. Markowitz “to stimulate interest among college students in Hebrew as a living language.”
