Israel bought slightly less from and sold slightly more to Britain in 1967 than it did in 1966, according to figures published today in the Anglo-Israel Trade Journal.
During the 16 months ending October 31, 1967, Britain exported goods and materials to Israel valued at 42,846,000 pounds sterling (about $102,830,400) and imported the same from Israel in the amount of 28,076,000 pounds sterling (about $57,076,000). In the same period of 1966, British exports to Israel were valued at 45,074,000 pounds sterling (about $107,177,000), and her imports at 23,284,000 pounds sterling (about $55,881,000).
