Gen. Rabin Visits Under-secretary Rostow; Jordan Believed Discussed

Gen, Yitzhak Rabin, new Israeli Ambassador to the United States, called on Under-Secretary of State Eugene Rostow. The purpose of the weekend call was to get acquainted. It was thought likely that the Jordanian tensions were discussed. The new envoy, who was formerly Israel’s Chief of Staff, has been making a series of visits to key officials of the Johnson Administration since taking up his new duties.
