Foreign Ministry Accuses Soviets of Inflaming Arab States to Action Against Israel

A Foreign Ministry spokesman charged the Soviet Union today with deliberately fanning the aggressive emotions of the Arab countries” in convention of its obligations under the United Nations Charter. The spokesman referred to an article in the Soviet Communist Party newspaper. Pravda, Saturday which upheld Arab terrorists is “freedom fighters” and threatened Soviet intervention against Israel.

The Pravda article rejected Israel’s right to pursue terrorists across international borders. It was interpreted In official circles here as further encourager and to the Arabs not to seek peace with Israel and an overt sanctioning of continued terrorist tactics.
