Plans for early establishment of a Dutch-Jewish cultural and historical center to conduct studies on the history and culture of Holland and its Jewish community, were announced here today. The center will have a branch in Israel. Dr. J. Z. Baruch, president of the Amsterdam Sephardic community, will serve as chairman of the new center. This city’s Jewish Burgomaster, Dr. Ivo Samkalden, is one of the founders. Two Israelis of Dutch origin, Dr. R. J. Z. Werblowsky and Prof. S. Gitter have set up a committee in Israel.
