Israel Postpones Signing of Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty

Israel’s signature on the nuclear non-proliferation treaty has been delayed pending consultation with other nations on possible atomic monopoly features that might apply to the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. Authoritative sources said today that Israel will sign the treaty if reservations on the peaceful uses of nuclear power can be clarified.
