Rabbi Irving Lehrman, religious leader of Temple Emanu-El, Miami Beach, delivered the invocation at Tuesday night’s session of the Republican National Convention here. He is a vice president of the Synagogue Council of America, which is the overall Jewish religious representative body of Orthodox, Conservative and Reform Judaism in the United States.
