Hadassah has ear-marked several thousand dollars worth of drugs and medicines for use in Biafra, the beseiged secessionist province of Nigeria, it was announced today. The Women’s Zionist Organization, has notified the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), which collects the supplies, that the shipment is available, The medicines and drugs were part of the $100,000 worth of such items that Hadasaah collects and packs each year for shipment to Israel.
