Dr Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Jewish Congress, was decorated today with the Order Cruzeiro Do Sul (Southern Cross). In presenting the decoration, Brazil’s Foreign Minister Magalhaes Pinto said it represented a tribute to the Jewish people, which contributed much to world civilization and to Brazil’s development.
