The Joint Distribution Committee announced the appointment of Ralph I. Goldman, a Boston-born Harvard graduate, as associate director of Malben, the JDC’s social welfare agency in Israel that cares for aged immigrants. Mr. Goldman previously headed the American Israel Cultural Foundation and was in charge of the technical assistance department of the Prime Minister’s office in Jerusalem. Malben plans to extend its old aged services and expand assistance for the handicapped.
