Jewish National Fund Plants 100,000 Trees on Mount of Olives to Protect Forest

The Jewish National Fund announced that it has planted 100,000 trees just east of the Mount of Olives in a forest that was started some time ago by the Jordanian forestry department. The JNF said the forest had been threatened because of sparse planting and the development of numerous bare spots.
