A new Yiddish weekly, “Dos Naye Yiddish Vort,” has begun publication in Winnipeg, Manitoba, succeeding the Yiddish-English Israelite Press, a bi-lingual newspaper that ceased publication recently after 58 years. The new journal is edited by a board consisting of Joseph Bar-El, Samuel Tauber, Mechl Nitikman, Meyer Zucker and George Skulsky.
