Israel’s Ambassador to Italy, Amiel Najar, represented his country at the inauguration of the 71st International Agricultural Fair at Verona, an event attended by Italian Prime Minister Mariano Rumor and several members of his cabinet. The Ambassadors of Japan, India and Soviet Russia also attended. The Israeli stand proved to be one of the major attractions with displays of grapefruit, avocados, strawberries, flowers, wine and fruit juices.
