The Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will mark its 70th anniversary at its annual conference next weekend. According to Lavy Bakstansky, general secretary of the movement, its current activities are focused on Jewish education, assistance to Jews planning to immigrate to Israel and public relations for Israel.
The B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation here announced that its new building is nearing completion. According to Hayim Pinner, executive director, the $720,000 structure will provide facilities for students and all activities of the Hillel Foundation.
