Delegates from nine countries, pioneer and student groups among them, attended a European aliya (immigration) conference here. The gathering was addressed by Eran Lair, European representative of the Jewish Agency, and Rabbi Mordechai Kirshblum, associate head of the Jewish Agency’s immigration department. Another speaker was Mordechai Kidron, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations office in Europe.
