Rhode Island Gov. Frank Licht will lead a delegation of lawyers and Jurists from the United States to the first International Congress of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists in Jerusalem in August. The congress, the first of its kind, is being held under the patronage of Yaacov Shimshon Shapiro, Minister of Justice of Israel, and is sponsored by the Israel Bar Association. It will be attended by some 800 delegates from the U.S., Canada and Europe. Gov. Licht is a past president of the General Jewish Committee of Providence.
