Four local Jews were re-elected to the Manitoba legislature and a fifth was newly elected to give this mid western Canadian Province the largest number of Jews sitting in any Canadian legislature. The successful candidates were Saul Miller, Sidney Green and Sidney Spivack, all members of the previous House, and Cy Goneck, a university professor, who is serving his first term. All five were elected from urban districts and all are identified with Jewish community activities.
