The Workmen’s Circle and the Hebrew Actors Union announced today that the second annual Yiddish music and theater festival will be held Aug. 21 in the Central Park Mall. Last year, the admission-free event attracted more than 25,000, the organization said. More than 150 performers will participate. The program will include Yiddish musical theater, Yiddish and Israeli concert singing and Jewish music presentations.
