The Jewish Agency reported today that immigration to Israel increased by 30 percent during the past Hebrew calendar year. According to Jewish Agency chairman Louis A. Pincus, nearly 37,000 settlers arrived this year compared to 28,000 the previous year. He said immigration from the United States and Canada amounted to 6,133 this year compared to 3,995 last year.
