Former Nazi Goes on Trial for Alleged Role in Murder of 90 Jews

Helmuth Bulhorn, a former Nazi accused of participation in the murders of 90 Jews in Eastern Europe during World War II, went on trial in Hamburg yesterday. A Hanover jury returned from Russia where it took testimony from witnesses in the trial of former SS man Friedrich Wirth who is accused of having taken part in the shooting of 40 Jews in two villages near Minsk and Smolensk. The jury questioned witnesses in Minsk and Moscow.
