The chairman of the Jewish Agency reported today that initial contributions to this year’s Israel Emergency Fund campaign abroad are running 40 percent ahead of the same period last year. Louis A. Pincus made the report on his return from a visit to the United States, Canada and Europe on behalf of fund-raising organizations.
