According to reports from Hong Kong, Premier Chou En-Lai of China has pledged his country’s support for the Arab cause in a letter to President Gamal Abdel Nasser of Egypt. Mr. Chou received the Egyptian Ambassador Salah el-Abd, the Chinese news agency Hsinhua reported, and denounced United States plans to send more arms to Israel. He gave the Egyptian envoy a letter for Col. Nasser in which he assailed Israeli military operations against Arab countries, the reports said.
