An historic step to help insure the continuity of Jewish life was mark by the Jewish Federation-Council board of directors when it approved a special allocation of $61,700 for new programs to involve Jewish youth on campuses and in the community, it was announced by Bram Goldsmith, JFC president. A pilot program, planned by JFC’s Committee on College-age Youth and Faculty, will provide Jewish youth a greater identity with their background and with the community. The program was adopted after consultation with students and faculty.
