Magen David Adom. Israel’s official Red Cross agency, has dispatched a series of relief shipments to the bereaved victims of the Peruvian earthquakes. The shipments included medicine, bandages, blood plasma, blankets and children’s clothing, according to an announcement today by the American Red Magen David for Israel. “Saving lives,” Dr. Eliahu Elath, President of Magen David Adom, said, “is a universal commitment. We must go where we are needed, whenever we are needed.”
