Twenty-six young cooperative-farm managers from the United Republic of Tanzania are participating in an agricultural course being given by the Foreign Training Department of the Ministry of Agriculture. Tanzania has also applied to the Israeli government for aid in its five-year plan for rural development. The classes and lectures are being held at Bet Berl, near Kefar. Israel is underwriting the Africans’ tuition and boarding expenses, while Tanzania is paying their fares to and from Israel.
