Russian Jews were apparently deeply affected by the death of eight children of Avivim settlement in the terrorist ambush of a school bus near the Lebanese border last May. Letters of sympathy from Jews bearing Soviet postmarks continue to be received by the stricken families. A parcel containing toys and candies was received at Avivim yesterday from a Jew in Lithuania.
