Three Doctors, Acquitted of Complicity in Nazi Mercy Killings, Ordered Retried

The West German Supreme Court has ordered that three German physicians acquitted three years ago of complicity in Nazi “mercy killings” be retried. The doctor–Aquillan Ullrich, 56; Klaus Endruweit, 56, and Heinrich Bunke, 55–were accused of participating in the gassing of 8,000 mental defectives in 1940.
