Negotiations are currently in progress between the Sorbonne University in Paris and the World Zionist Organization’s Department of Education to bring teachers from France to Israel for training as teachers of Hebrew in French high schools, the Director of the Israeli organization reported here. He added that interest in Hebrew studies had also increased in Holland as well, and disclosed that several new Hebrew “ulpanim” had been opened using the “Look and Listen” audio-visual method which has been developed by the Haifa Technion.
