Israeli Commander Jet to Go on Exhibit in U.S.

Israel aircraft industries’ first commercial-built jet aircraft, the 10-passenger “Commander Jet,” will go on public display for the first time in the U.S. at the international air show in Reading, Pa., June 8-11. Marvin Klemow, vice-president of marketing of the company owned by the Israeli government, said the jet has a range of 2,000 miles and a speed of 535 miles an hour. After the Reading show, it will go on display in other American cities.
