In an effort to help bridge the community gap, Bar-Ilan University has established special scholarships funded by the Jerome Sisselman Torah Foundation. Annual scholarships of IL 2,500 ($714) will be awarded to Asian and African students who lack the financial means to pursue a higher education. The university has committed itself to providing free education to the recipients of the new scholarships.
