Spain, Finland, Malta and the Philippines are some of the countries that for the first time have sent students to the Hebrew University’s summer course, beginning today in Jerusalem. Students are also attending from Italy, Sweden, England, France, West Germany and other European countries. A majority of the record 1000-plus arrivals are from the United States, including contingenis from the State University of New York; Brooklyn (N.Y.) College, and Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. The total represents a 25 percent increase over last year. The summer course is taught on the regular university level.
