Panthers Squabble over Who Will Visit U.S.

Dissension erupted among the Black Panthers yesterday following an announcement that they would send a delegation to the U.S. next September to arouse the American Jewish community to the problems of poverty in Israel. The internal dispute revolved around which Panther leaders would make the trip, One of them, Edi Malka, was expelled from the organization yesterday after he accused two other leaders of obtaining funds for the trip from “left-wing sources.” He also alleged that El Eatah. the Palestinian terrorist organization, had offered military training to the Panthers, Malka, who was recently Involved in a dispute with housing authorities over his apartment, directed his charges against fellow-Panthers Reuven Abergir and Saadya Marciano who were slated to go to the U.S. Malka was not selected, A Panther spokesman said Malka was ousted because he was” disruptive to discipline and was using the organization for his own ends.”
