Newspapers here attacked today the pseudo-Biblical, anti-Semitic play “Judah the Pig,” and agreed that the protests of the Italian Jewish community against the play were justified. The only discordant note was expressed by the neo-fascist daily “El Tempo” which said the protests were organized by “extra-parliamentary leftist provocateurs.” Centrist and leftist dailies termed the play as “the lowest kind of anti-Semitic propaganda.”
