Close to $22 million in long term commitments for the health, educational and welfare programs of Histadrut in Israel has been raised through the Israel-Histadrut Foundation during the past 11 years, Dr. Sol Stein, executive vice-president, announced at the annual Foundation luncheon sponsored by the Los Angeles Histadrut Council. Julius Fligelman, president, Histadrut Council. Pacific Coast Region, and luncheon chairman, announced that Los Angeles has raised $2.7 million toward the national total.
