Brith Shalom, a Jewish national fraternal organization, announced today that it will embark on a campaign for a $1 million rehabilitation center for Israeli war invalids to be built at Haifa in conjunction with the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization. The campaign was announced by Henry Cron, national president and Alex F. Stanton, chairman of the Brith Shalom Foundation who just headed a 50-member delegation on a two-week visit to Israel. During their stay, cornerstone laying ceremonies were held for the projected center to be known as Brith Shalom Beit Ha Lochem. It will consist of therapy rooms, a social hall, gymnasium, auditorium, swimming pool and an area for outdoor sports.
