Israeli authorities last night reimposed a midnight to 3 a.m. curfew on all Gaza Strip cities. Including Gaza, because of an increase in sabotage activities in the area. The curfew had been suspended during the past five weeks.
Yesterday, two children were killed and 10 others injured in two separate incidents in the Strip. One of the incidents occurred at the Jebaliyah refugee camp where a hand grenade, thrown at an Israeli patrol, missed its target and exploded near a group of local children. One of the youngsters was killed and five were injured. The Israeli patrol shot and injured the alleged attacker, who was hospitalized.
The other incident took place at the Shati camp. A hand grenade aimed at a border police patrol exploded instead near some children. One was killed and five were injured. One man was arrested in connection with the incident. Meanwhile, an 18-year-old terrorist was sentenced to life imprisonment by a military tribunal in Gaza.
