The Baath Party of Syria will mark its 25th anniversary this month and an East German Jew has been named to head the official East German delegation to Damascus to participate in the celebration, it was learned here today. He is Horst Brasch, a member of the Central Committee of the East German Communist Party (SED). Another East German delegation will go to Baghdad next week to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Iraqi Baath Party.
