The Czechoslovak Ministry of Posts has just issued a stamp commemorating the 30th anniversary of the creation of the notorious Theresienstadt concentration camp in which tens of thousands of Jews died during the Nazi occupation of the country. The stamp, which shows the face of a Jewish child surrounded by barbed wire, is used for both local and foreign mail. The release of the stamp comes at a time when most East European governments are minimizing the suffering of the Jews during World War II.
