Jewish sources here made known today the names of five more Soviet Jews, all Army Reserve officers, who have been ordered to active service with not much likelihood of immediate duty. The additional five are David Markish, Pavel Abramovich, Mikhail Kliatchkin, Mark Nashpitz and Sergie (Shmuel) Gurevitz. Those named yesterday were Victor Yakhout, Gavriel Shapiro, Michael Kalatchnik, Dan Rozhinski and Vladimir Lerner. It is believed that “Kalatchnik” was a misspelling of Kliatchkin.
In reporting the additional names by telephone to the Student Struggle for Soviet Jewry, Shapiro said: “The situation is much more serious than the situation of Vladimir Slepak (a dissident Jewish scientist forced into menial labor). They want to take us out of Moscow for the Nixon visit.”
