Rabbi Henry Siegman, executive vice-president of the Synagogue Council of America, said today that Rabbi Irving Lehrman, SCA president, branded the Jewish Defense League as irresponsible for stating that Jews in America are likely to face a Holocaust. He said Rabbi Lehrman was not referring to the JDL’s call for mass aliya.
