The Rumanian Ministry of Tourism announced that it would open an office in Israel shortly to encourage Israeli tourism to Rumania. Last year 3800 Israelis visited Rumania, mainly to visit relatives. Rumanian tourism authorities are seeking to double the number by promoting their country’s tourist attractions.
