A protest against the huge new charges for exits for Russian Jewish intellectuals was sent by the Rio Jewish Federation to the Soviet ambassador in Brasilia. The protest, signed by Dr. Samuel Malamud, Federation president, said the Soviet decree was another violation of the “fundamental principles” of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.”
There will be no Bulletin on September 4, due to Labor Day.
